Are you ready for a career in manufacturing?
1 out of every 10 local jobs is a manufacturing job. ManufactuREADY is an intense, six-week program to prepare unemployed (or under-employed) individuals for success in the rewarding field of manufacturing.
The curriculum is rigorous. Participants are expected to attend Monday through Friday for six consecutive weeks.
THERE IS NO COST FOR ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS. Taught through the Economic Development Services Division at Athens Technical College, the program is funded through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and the Northeast Georgia Regional Commission (NEGRC). ManufactuREADY is geared toward unemployed individuals who have little or no manufacturing experience, but who wish to enter or re-enter the workforce with new and in-demand skills. The program fee and all required materials are covered for those who meet eligibility requirements.
